Neptune Institute of management and Technology came into existence by collaborating with Indian Engineering Coaching and Institute in 1995 and since then it has been playing a major role in imparting knowledge to students.

In 2007 the institute took accreditation for distance learning programs for Management, Engineering and Computer Courses. In 2008 the company was awarded an ISO 9001:2000 for systematic and well organised management system. It is for the first time that an institution has been awarded an ISO Certification for Business and Technology school in India.

NIMT is dedicated towards imparting quality education in the fields of Management, Engineering and Computer Applications. It offers a wide range of short term Diploma, Master and Bachelor Degree programme in Management, Engineering and Computer Applications via regular or correspondence programme enabling students to excel in their area of study.

In NIMT, faculties aspire to enhance student’s skills prepares them to face complex problems in short time span just like a real manager. It polishes them and develops their judgement skills. It prepares them for the competitions faced by a manager and trains them to perform best in any situation.

Since the institute offers regular as well as distance learning courses it conducts its examinations accordingly. Center Based Examinations are suitable for those who opt for regular classes. They appear for a three hour exam in NIMT exam centers. Assignment Based Examinations a case study based exam paper is applicable for home or E Mail option. Online Examinations every student at NIMT gets an id and password which can be used to apply for online exams on the registered date.
